Have lived in Thorpe since 1987 and have seen many changes, not always for the best, but still a wonderful place to live.

E-mail: Contact 		What a brilliant web site, I have looked at it with many fond and also sad memories.
I lived in the village from the age of two when my Mum was the local district nurse from 1951 until 1960 when we moved to York.
We lived at 18 brook hill opposite the Horse & Tiger pub in the nurses house provided by the Miners Welfare Fund.
